Taylor's U-Lounge
The interior design for the Taylor's U-Lounge project showcases a modern, vibrant, and multi-functional communal space tailored to the needs of university residents, emphasizing comfort and collaboration. The aesthetic utilizes a contemporary base of exposed white ceilings and clean walls complemented by warm, medium-toned wood finishes on flooring, built-in seating, and architectural frames. Defining the space is the strategic use of bold, playful colors—including bright yellows, turquoise/teal, and lime green—which appear in accent chairs, patterned wallpaper, and custom geometric ceiling features, injecting a youthful energy. The layout incorporates diverse seating arrangements, from custom-built window-facing study benches with integrated planters to casual lounge chairs and collaborative tables, providing various options for studying, socializing, and relaxation. The design also features dramatic, oversized lighting fixtures and contemporary graphics that reinforce the modern, energetic, and highly student-focused environment.
